Shame on the people who invited her to speak at a #MeToo rally when she was the abuser.
Those who say it’s a step back for women I say no! This is a step forward for survivors and the world finally seeing that men can also be victims of abuse.

It makes me livid seeing her talk about her fake abuse.
It enrages me to think that the women protesting and cheering were actually watching a perpetrator of abuse switch the story around.

And just like her, I won’t be mentioning her name. We all know who I’m referring to. But if I don’t say her name it could be anyone. No?!?

Many domestic abuse survivors will be watching in horror knowing that she’s set us back decades. I am a survivor of DA when I was married for 17 years. I fought to get my voice heard and now this has happened, it will be even harder to be believed… so disappointed and painful.

I could never sit so close to my abuser and speak like that. I’d be shaking and crying. I asked for a curtain to be pulled around. I didn’t want to have to speak when he was right there. So much of what she says and does makes no sense.

Not all of us are aware that when we warn our children not to talk to strangers and not to get into cars of people you don’t know… the statistics show that the person most likely to abuse a child is someone close to them, like a parent, teacher or older relative.

These are the predators we need to protect our children from… as well as the “boogie man down the alleyway”. Remember that women sexually abuse too. Leaving a child with a female doesn’t necessarily mean they’re automatically safe from sexual abuse.

“Any child is at risk of being sexual abused. It’s important to remember that both boys and girls can be sexually abused.

Most children who’ve been sexual abused were abused by someone they know. This could be a family member, a friend or someone who has targeted them – like a teacher or sports coach.”

If a child talks to you about sexual abuse it’s important to:

listen carefully to what they’re saying
let them know they’ve done the right thing by telling you
tell them it’s not their fault
say you’ll take them seriously
don’t confront the alleged abuser
explain what you’ll do next
report what the child has told you as soon as possible.”

Here’s New Independent Fundamentalist Baptist preacher Jonathan Shelley just going on a wildly anti-Semitic rant in church yesterday.

The assumptions are ridiculous and he’s so full of anger it’s wild. Does he know that other races are doctors and lawyers?

Study and learning are valued by many people, including Jewish people. Does he hate all Doctors and Lawyers or is it just the Jewish ones??

If there was a god and they healed people there would be no Doctors. We wouldn’t need them!

However disturbing it is to hear someone so blatantly hating the Jewish Community, it’s also good that it’s been recorded and put online so people know what this man is about

A genuine Christian wouldn’t hate other people just for existing and being themselves. He is a disgrace and shouldn’t be associated with genuine Christians who are about love and compassion and respecting others. Not about hate.
